
Molly Kreklow And U.S. National Team Win Gold At NORCECA Women's Continental Championship

U.S. Team advances to NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament with chance to earn trip to 2016 Rio Olympic Games
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Former Mizzou Volleyball All-American setter Molly Kreklow (Delano, Minn.) and the U.S. Women's National Team won its third consecutive gold medal at the NORCECA Women's Continental Championship on Friday, Oct. 2. The win marked the U.S. National Team's fourth tournament championship in 2015.
The U.S. Women's National Team, ranked No. 1 in the world by the FIVB, now advances to the NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament in January. Team USA will be joined by the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Canada in the four-team tournament.
Kreklow came off the bench in Team USA's gold medal match at the NORCECA Women's Continental Championship, adding five running sets on 18 set attempts.
The Americans will look to finish first at the NORCECA Olympic Qualifier and guarantee qualification into the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
