Black Defeats Gold During @MizzouWBB Halloween & Hoops Scrimmage

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Bri Porter (Columbia, Mo.) led all scorers with 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting to pace the Black team to a 30-15 victory of the Gold squad in the Halloween & Hoops preseason scrimmage at Mizzou Arena Friday evening.
Porter shot 2-for-4 from 3-point range while the black team shot 50 percent (12-for-24) from the field and 46 percent (5-for-11) from beyond the arc throughout the two 8-minute halves. Jordan Frericks (Quincy, Ill.) added six points on 3-for-5 shooting while Lindsey Cunningham (Columbia, Mo.) contributed six points and four rebounds.
For the Gold team, Morgan Stock (Town & Country, Mo.) scored six points on 2-for-6 shooting from 3-point range while Juanita Robinson (Chicago, Ill.) chipped in five points. Michelle Hudyn (Kitchener, Ontario) finished with four rebounds.
The Tigers begin the exhibition schedule on Wednesday evening with a 7 p.m. tipoff vs. Southwest Baptist at Mizzou Arena.
