TEAM
- Mizzou moved to 1-4 all-time against Georgia and 1-1 in matchups at Sanford Stadium in Athens.
OFFENSE
- QB Drew Lock completed 11 of 26 passes for 143 yards. His 33-yard pass to WR Nate Brown was the second-longest completion of his freshman season.
- RB Russell Hansbrough notched a career-long 24-yard catch-and-run in the second quarter.
- WR Nate Brown hauled in a career-long 33-yard reception in the first quarter. His previous long was a 25-yard catch vs. Southeast Missouri on Sept. 5.
- WR Cam Hilton made a career-long 29-yard reception in the second quarter.
DEFENSE
- Mizzou now has eight interceptions on the season, which ties Alabama for second in the SEC.
- LB Kentrell Brothers set a career-high with 17 tackles (five solo), breaking his previous career-best mark of 16 stops that he recorded earlier this season vs. Southeast Missouri on Sept. 5 and at Arkansas State on Sept. 12.
- Brothers recorded a stop on fourth-and-short in the first quarter, marking the fourth time the Mizzou defense has forced a turnover on downs this season.
- LB Michael Scherer finished with 12 tackles (three solo).
- S Ian Simon recorded his second interception of the season off of a deflected pass by Scherer on the first play from scrimmage. He set a career-long with a 39-yard return down to the Georgia 1-yard line. It established a new career-high for a single season and marked the fourth pick of his career. The 39-yard return was the longest by a Mizzou player since LB Darvis Ruise returned a pick 46 yards for a touchdown at Florida on Oct. 18, 2014.
- Simon also set a career high with nine tackles (five solo). His previous career-best was eight stops at Florida on Oct. 18, 2014.
- DE Charles Harris recorded nine tackles (two solo) and notched his fifth sack (-10 yards) of the season.
- DT Terry Beckner, Jr. set a career-high with six tackles and notched his second sack (-2 yards) in as many weeks.
SPECIAL TEAMS
- K Andrew Baggett became the new Mizzou all-time leader with his 60th career field goal, passing K Jeff Wolfert (59, 2006-08). Baggett was responsible for six points and is now 29 points shy of the program scoring record.
- P Corey Fatony averaged 45.7 yards on seven punts. He had a long of 59 yards and placed one inside the 20-yard line.

- Captains were C Evan Boehm, OL Taylor Chappell (honorary), CB Kenya Dennis, RB Russell Hansbrough and S Ian Simon.
