COLUMBIA, Mo. – After winning 10 total matches on the opening day of the Mizzou Invite on Friday, the Tigers continued to dominate on Saturday, posting an 11-3 overall record as a team, including a 5-1 mark in doubles matches. Every player on head coach Sasha Schmid's squad picked up at least one victory on the day and three different Tigers, Kelli Hine, Brianna Lashway and Bea Machado Santos, went a perfect 3-0.

Mizzou set the tone early at the Plaza Tennis Center, making a statement in the opening doubles session against Louisville. The Tigers swept all three of their doubles matches, losing just eight combined games in the process. During the second session vs. Nebraska, Mizzou went 2-1 as the tandems of Santos and Lashway and sophomore Clare Raley and junior Brittany Lashway each collected 6-1 victories. Raley improved to 4-0 in doubles on the season and 5-1 overall through two days of competition.

The Tigers' success continued during the afternoon singles session vs. Penn State, in which Mizzou won five of six matches. After Yates secured a convincing win at No. 6 singles (6-2, 6-0), Hine handed the Tigers' their second singles victory following a hard-fought battle. Hine, who is ranked No. 89 in the ITA preseason rankings, triumphed in a close first set tiebreak, 7-6 (5) before controlling the second set 6-1 to seal her second singles win of the Mizzou Invitational.

Brianna Lashway, Brittany Lashway and Santos all picked up three-set match wins.  Brianna Lashway prevailed in a thrilling, third-set
tiebreaker to deliver Mizzou's fifth and final singles win on Saturday and 11th win overall
