COLUMBIA, Mo. – On the third day of #MIZCamp Saturday morning, the Tigers practiced for around two hours at the Mizzou Athletics Training Complex (MATC). For the first time, players donned shoulder pads to go along with helmets. Both sides of the ball showed flashes during team portions. Below are some highlights from Saturday's session.
- QB Maty Mauk threw a long TD to WR Keyon Dilosa during 1-on-1 drills between receivers and defensive backs.
- WR Nate Brown showed strong hands and awareness in making multiple catches while staying in-bounds along the sideline.
- CB Kenya Dennis dove to break up an accurate pass intended for Brown.
- QB John Eierman threw a TD to Dilosa after rolling out to his left. Dilosa caught the pass in-stride near the goal line.
- CB Aarion Penton broke up an accurate pass from QB Eddie Printz intended for WR Wesley Leftwich.
On Sunday, Mizzou Football will hold its annual Fan Day at Memorial Stadium. Due to excessive heat in the forecast, the event has been moved to the East Concourse of the stadium from 3:15 – 4:45 p.m. Admission to Fan Appreciation Day is free and fans are encouraged to bring a factory sealed bottle of water of an empty water bottle that can be refilled.
Fans can still expect the football team to be signing autographs with a one item limit per person. Parking for the event is free and fans are encouraged to park in the lots to the east and north of Memorial Stadium. ADA/handicapped parking will be in Lot J (Hearnes Center lot) and a Mizzou event staff member will be at entrance 2E to let those with disabilities into the stadium.
Fans looking to get the latest Mizzou Football team gear are invited to check out the Tiger Team Store, which will be open Sunday from 2:30-5:30 p.m.
