COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou volleyball once again posted a strong showing in the classroom, as the team accumulated an impressive 3.62 grade-point average during the Summer 2015 semester.
A total of six Mizzou volleyball student-athletes recorded a 4.0 summer GPA, and every member of the team had at least above a 3.00 GPA.
"Wow, what an incredible effort yet again by our ladies in the classroom," head coach Wayne Kreklow said. "This group did an outstanding job academically this past school year as well, and it's great to see that success transition over to the summer semester. It's really impressive to see them all be able to focus and get the job done in the classroom, even with the upcoming 2015 season on the horizon. Outstanding job overall by each of our student-athletes!"
High success rates in the classroom isn't anything new to Mizzou volleyball, as the program tallied a 3.55 GPA this past Spring 2015 semester. Overall during the 2014-15 academic year, the Tigers posted a cumulative 3.51 GPA.
