COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Men's Golf sophomore Luigi Botta will swing his clubs for Italy at the World University Games from Wednesday, July 8 - Saturday, July 11. The Tiger compiled a stroke average of 75.1 over 14 rounds during his freshman campaign at Mizzou.
A native of Cuneo, Italy, Botta had five years of experience playing on Italy's national teams prior to coming to the United States to play for the Black & Gold.
Botta and the rest of Italy's World University Games squad will play at Naju Gold Lake Country Club outside of Gwangju, South Korea. Results can be found online here.
