Mizzou Freshmen Recognized on SEC First-Year Honor Roll

Following another banner year in the classroom for Mizzou Athletics, 52 freshmen student-athletes were named to the 2015 SEC First-Year Honor Roll on Wednesday, July 1 by the league office.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Following another banner year in the classroom for Mizzou Athletics, 52 freshmen student-athletes were named to the 2015 SEC First-Year Honor Roll on Wednesday, July 1 by the league office.

To be placed on the SEC First-Year Academic honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1.) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above; 2.) be on scholarship or a letterwinner; 3.) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit; and 4.) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
