COLUMBIA, Mo. - 2015 Mizzou volleyball alumni, Whitney Little, will continue her playing career overseas as she has been added to the Dresdner Sportclub German professional team. Former Tiger volleyball All-American, Molly Kreklow, also played professionally for Dresdner SC and helped lead the team to a 2015 Bundesliga Championship.
Little capped off her outstanding Mizzou volleyball career last November, as she left with 10 program records to her name. The Keller, Texas native now joins Dresdner SC and the Champions League, Germany's premier professional volleyball league.
"Playing four years at Mizzou and learning from Coach Hunter and Coach Yang and their international experience, plus Coach Kreklow's history of building professional players has really helped," Little said. "I really liked that my former teammate, Molly Kreklow, also played for Dresdner SC and I know she loved it. I've never been to Germany before, and I can't wait for this exciting journey!"
Dresdner SC has been one of the most successful professional volleyball teams in Germany over the past decade, as they claimed championships in 2007, 2014, and 2015. For more information on the club, visit DresdnerSportClub.de.
