Tigers Enjoy Record Setting Success In The Classroom

The 2014-15 academic year at the University of Missouri has concluded, and Mizzou volleyball finished with the team's highest GPA in over a decade.

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The 2014-15 academic year at the University of Missouri has concluded, and Mizzou volleyball finished with the team's highest GPA in over a decade. The 14 girl roster posted a Spring 2015 semester GPA of 3.55 and finished with a cumulative 3.51 GPA this past school year.

According to Mizzou's Total Person Program (TPP), the 3.55 Spring semester GPA posted by Mizzou volleyball is their highest as a program since 2004. The outstanding effort in the classroom surpassed the team's previous Spring GPA high of 3.38 back in 2014.

The Tigers' academic excellence this past Fall semester also set a new benchmark for the program. Their 3.44 GPA during the Fall 2014 semester was also the highest on record according to the TPP, surpassing the previous high of 3.40 set in 2013.
