COLUMBIA, Mo. - Former Mizzou volleyball All-American, Molly Kreklow, was named to the FIVB World Grand Prix preliminary roster as announced today by USA Volleyball. Kreklow is one of 25 players to be named to the exclusive roster.
The 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix includes preliminary rounds from July 3-18, and is capped off with the finals round held July 22-26 in Omaha, Neb. The World Grand Prix is the premier annual international women's volleyball tournament with the top-12 teams competing in nine preliminary matches to qualify for the six-team, round-robin finals.
Kreklow, a 2013 First Team AVCA All-American and First Team Volleyball Magazine All-American her senior year at Mizzou, has continued outstanding success on the court following her Tiger career. This past April, she helped lead Dresdner SC to a Bundesliga Championship for the second straight year.
Additionally, the former Tiger setter was one of 22 players to make the 2014 USA Volleyball World Championship roster last August, and also made the 2014 USA Volleyball Women's National Team last May.
This year's World Grand Prix Finals in Omaha, Neb. marks the first time that the U.S. has hosted the final round in the 23-year history of the event.
