Meet Notes Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou gymnastics team begins postseason competition this Saturday as they compete in the 2015 Southeastern Conference Championship in Duluth, Georgia. The Tigers will go in the afternoon session at 2 p.m. ET (1 p.m. CT) with Georgia, Arkansas and Kentucky.

TIGER TIDBITS
• Mizzou heads to the SEC Championships in Duluth, Georgia, on Saturday March 21. The Tigers will compete in the afternoon session with Georgia, Arkansas and Kentucky. The night session will feature Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Florida.
• The Mizzou gymnastics team is ranked No. 27 in the latest GymInfo Rankings released on Monday, with an RQS of 195.635, up from last week's RQS of 195.485.
• Most recently, Missouri scored a 196.150 in their last meet of the season at home against North Carolina State on March 13. The score marked the first time the Tigers reached a team total over 196.000 this season and was the eighth score above 195.000 after reaching that mark just four times combined in 2013 and 2014.
• The 196.150 was Mizzou's highest tally since a 195.250 against Bowling Green on Feb. 24, 2012.
• The Tigers trailed the Wolfpack 149.925-146.900 heading into the final rotation but responded with a 49.250 on flooor to claim the 195.150-196.000 victory.
• Overall, Missouri has season high scores of 49.250 on vault (at SEMO), 49.150 on bars (at SEMO), 49.150 on beam (at Florida) and 49.275 on floor (vs. Alabama).
• Senior Laura Kappler has tallied scores of 9.800 or higher 23 times in 2015 after reaching that mark just 13 times combined in her fi rst three years as a Tiger.
• As a team, the Tigers enter SECs with 109 scores of 9.8 or higher and 12 scores of 9.9 or higher this season. Last season, Mizzou totaled 77 scores of 9.8 or higher and 11 scores of 9.9 or higher the whole year.
• Freshman Shauna Miller tied Mizzou's vault record against Auburn on Feb. 20 with a 9.975. She joins former All-American Alisha Robinson as the only Tigers to earn that score in program history. The score also marked Miller's third vault of 9.900 or higher this year.
• 2015 marks the 36th season of the Mizzou gymnastics program, with the Tigers boasting an all-time regular season record of 378-309-1.
