Women's Golf Hosts MountainView Invite

Columbia, Mo. - Mizzou Women's Golf will continue its season this weekend at the MountainView Collegiate Invitational. Hosted by Missouri and Kansas State, the Tigers will host a field of 20 teams at the course at MountainView Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. which boasts a 6,227-yard, Par 72 course.

The two-day tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on March 20. Teams will play two rounds, 36-holes on Friday, followed by the third round on Saturday, March 21. Joining the Tigers at MountainView will be Arkansas State, BYU, Cal State Fullerton, Colorado State, Florida International, Fresno State, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, North Texas, Old Dominion, Ohio State, Purdue, Texas State, UNC Greensboro and Wyoming.

Last season, Nebraska took home the tournament title, while Gonzaga's Alice Kim earned the individual championship title. Missouri's Laura Kraft, however, finished tied for fourth overall as she shot even par through three rounds. The Tigers will look to bounce back this weekend after a tough competition at the SunTrust Gator Invitational.
