COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou returns home to the Hearnes Center to host No. 8 Auburn on Friday, Feb. 20 at 7:45 p.m. CT. The meet will be televised live on the SEC Network, with John Roethlisberger, Alicia Sacramone-Quinn and Ashley on the call.


TIGER TIDBITS


  • Most recently, the Tigers recorded a season high 195.975 at Florida on Feb. 13. The score also stands as the highest for Mizzou since March 24, 2012 (196.025 at Big 12 Championship).

  • The Tigers also had a season best beam score at Florida, after a rotation of 49.150.

  • Missouri tallied a season best floor score of 49.150 vs. Lindenwood on Sunday.

  • Overall, Missouri has season high scores of 49.250 on vault (at SEMO), 49.150 on bars (at SEMO), 49.150 on beam (at Florida) and 49.150 on floor (vs. Lindenwood).

  • Missouri's most consistent event all season has been vault. The squad ranks 22nd nationally on the event with a 48.954 average, while their RQS is 48.980.

  • Mizzou is relying heavily on their freshman this season. Last time out, the freshman class contributed exactly half (12 of 24) routines in the meet at Florida.

  • Freshman Kelli Martin made her collegiate debut against the Tigers, making an impact right away with a 9.850 on beam.

  • Senior Laura Kappler has tallied scores of 9.800 or higher 14 times in 2015 after reaching that mark just 13 times combined in her first three years as a Tiger.

  • 2015 marks the 35th season of the Mizzou gymnastics program, with the Tigers boasting an all-time regular season record of 376-304-1.

  • Freshman Shauna Miller leads the Tigers with 11 total all-around and event wins in 2015. She's claimed three wins in the all-around and on bars, two apiece on vault and beam and one on floor.

  • 2015 marks the 35th season of the Mizzou gymnastics program, with the Tigers boasting anall-time regular season record of 376-305-1.

  • Freshman Shauna Miller was the first SEC Freshman of the Week honoree in 2015 to become the Tigers' first-ever SEC selection.

  • The March 6 home meet against Alabama will make history for the program, as the Tigers will compete at Mizzou Arena for the first time in the facility's 10-year history.
