Last Time vs. Kentucky Kentucky
The Tigers visited Lexington last season, and Bri Kulas notched her eighth career double-double leading the Tigers with 27 points and 14 rebounds in Missouri's 80-69 loss at then-No. 9 Kentucky. The Tigers came out ready, taking an early lead over the Wildcats. Mizzou led for much of the half, holding the Cats to just 25-percent shooting from distance. It took Kentucky 10 minutes to catch the Tigers as they did not pull ahead until the final five minutes of the half. Kulas led the Tigers with a game-high 20 points in the first half, and was just one rebound away from a first-half double-double. The Tigers went into the locker room trailing by just six

Scouting the Wildcats
With a 15-4 record so far this season, the No. 14 Wildcats will see the Tigers after a loss at LSU. The Cats are led by Jennifer O'Neill who averages more than 14 points per game. Prior to losing Janee Thompson to injury, Kentucky boasted four players averaging in double-figures including O'Neill, Thompson, Linnae Harper and Makayla Epps.

Quick Hits
• No. 14 Kentucky will mark the third ranked opponent that the Tigers have faced this season. Mizzou has defeated two or more ranked teams in three of head coach Robin Pingeton's four years at Mizzou. Check out page seven for a more detailed look.

• It's no secret that sophomore Jordan Frericks is Mizzou's weapon on the glass. She is averaging 9.5 rebounds per game and stands as the first Tiger to average more than nine rebounds per game since Kesha Bonds averaged 9.5 rpg in the 1998-99 season.

• In 18 games this season the Tigers have allowed just two teams to shoot better than 40-percent in a game. In fact, the Tigers have limited opponents to less than 37-percent shooting in 14 of 19 games, winning 11 of those 14 contests. Mizzou has not allowed an opponent to shoot better than 40-percent in 10 consecutive games with the high-water mark in that span coming from Arkansas, which shot 37.15-percent.

• The 47 points allowed by Mizzou against Florida are the fewest that the Tigers have ever allowed in a regular season SEC game since joining the league and match the fewest ever in an SEC game allowed by the Tigers (Mizzou held Vanderbilt to 53 in the SEC Tournament in 2012-13)

• Mizzou has been getting it done with defense so far this season. In fact, in 12 of the Tigers' games this season, they have held their opponents to 60 or fewer points. Of course, Mizzou has won nine of those 12 contests. Mizzou held its opponents to 60 or fewer points just 11 times last season. In fact, Mizzou has won 18 of its last 22 games when holding opponents to fewer than 60 points (dating back to the start of last season).

• A big reason why Mizzou's defense has been so stingy is the fact that they are limiting opponents to 33.6-percent shooting this season, 2nd in the SEC and the 8th in the nation.

• The Tigers have also made a living on limiting second-chance points this season. In eight games this year, Mizzou has limited its opponent to single-digit second-chance points. The last time coming against Florida, when the Tigers allowed the Gators just three second-chance points.

Jordan Frericks sits at No. 61 in the nation for her rebounding numbers so far this season. Not only that, but the Tigers are outrebounding opponents by 5.4 rebounds per game, good for 60th in the nation.

• The Tigers have gone hard on the glass this season, outrebounding opponents in 14 games so far this year. The Tigers grabbed a season-high 55 rebounds against UNLV on Nov. 21. Mizzou has tallied 50 or more boards in three games.
