Notes
- Mizzou now trails the all-time series with Florida, 2-9, and has lost four of the last five meetings.
- Mizzou is now 5-12 in games against ranked opponents this season, 3-11 on Saturdays and 13-14 against RHP starters.
- The Tigers were limited to a season-low one hit on Saturday.
- Mizzou turned a season-high five double-plays in the loss. Their previous-best was three at Missouri State on April 15.
- Eric Anderson walked to open the ballgame marking the 20th time in 20 games as a leadoff hitter that he has reached base safely to open a ballgame. It was the second time in the series that he has done so after reaching on a single in the first inning Friday.
- Anderson left the game in the fourth inning after allowing just two hits and a run while throwing first-pitch strikes to 10 of 11 batters faced.
- Sophomore Austin Tribby made his SEC-leading 27th pitching appearance in the bottom of the seventh inning.
