- John Miles made his first midweek start of the season on Wednesday. It was his second start in four games after pitching last Saturday against Mississippi State.
- Dylan Kelly ripped a single into left field to open the top of the second inning. He has now reached base safely in 18 consecutive games, his longest streak of the season and second-longest by a Tiger in 2014.
- Kelly tallied a two-out, two-run double in the fifth inning. He now has a team-high nine two-out RBI this season.
- Peter Fairbanks tossed a career-long 8.0 innings, striking out three. He also did not allow a walk Wednesday.
- Dylan Kelly tallied his 13th multi-hit game of the season on Wednesday. That ties him for the team lead this season with Dylan Kelly. Kelly also drove in two runs, good for his sixth multi-RBI game of the season, tops on the team.
