Notes
- Despite the loss, Mizzou still leads the all-time series with Auburn, 8-3, but the loss did snap a four-game winning streak by the Tigers in the series.
- Mizzou head coach now trails the all-time series with Auburn skipper Sunny Golloway, 17-16.
- Eric Anderson singled to lead off the game, reaching base in his first at bat for the 10th time in 17 games since he switched to the leadoff spot. When leading off an inning this season, Anderson has reached in 19 of 35 appearances (.543).
- Shane Segovia launched a 0-2 pitch off the green monster in left for a two-out double in the fourth inning as he has now reached base safely in 20 consecutive games.
- Logan Pearson had an RBI single in the third inning, extending his hitting streak to seven games, the longest active streak by a Tiger, and he has now reached base safely in eight games.
- Mizzou starter Brett Graves struggled on Sunday, allowing season-highs in hits (13) and runs (six) while earning his second loss of the season and first since the opening weekend.
