Notes
- With the loss, Mizzou now trails the all-time series with Ole Miss, 7-5.
- Sunday's loss was just the second of the season for Mizzou when scoring in the first inning.
- Eric Anderson led off the first inning with a double to left field, his third of the season. It gives him a streak of 16 consecutive games reaching base safely. He scored on an RBI groundout by Kendall Keeton as Mizzou took its first lead of the series.
- The first inning run for the Tigers is the ninth time in the last 14 games that the Tigers have plated a run in the opening frame of a game.
- Logan Pearson tallied his fourth hit since coming back from injury, a leadoff single in the fifth and came around to score the go-ahead run. Pearson also tallied a leadoff walk in the seventh and scored the Tigers' third run of the game.
- Freshman Ryan Howard tallied his team-leading 13th RBI in the seventh inning. Eight of those 13 RBI have come over the last nine games and he is hitting .346 in that span.
- Shane Segovia drew a walk to load the bases in the eighth inning, extending his team-long on-base streak to 17 consecutive games.
- Brett Graves went 7.0 or more innings for the fifth consecutive start on Sunday.
