Rhodenbaugh Named to Team USA Coaching Staff for 2015 Pan American Games

Nov. 19, 2014

Columbia, Mo. - USA Swimming announced its coaching staffs for the national team's three international events this summer, naming Mizzou head coach Greg Rhodenbaugh as a men's assistant coach for the 2015 Pan American Games.

The swimming events at the Pan American Games take place June 14-18, 2015 in Toronto, Canada. Rhondenbaugh will join current Tiger swimmer Carter Griffin, who was named to Team USA's Pan American Games roster in October. Griffin, a standout sophomore who already owns the Mizzou school record in the 200 back (1:41.67), will swim in the 100 back and 200 back.

Rhodenbaugh is in his fifth year at Mizzou. He has coached the 2014-15 Tiger teams to a hot start as both the men's and women's squads have perfect dual records so far this season. The men's team came in at No. 16 in the nation in the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll and the women's team continues to receive votes.

This is not the first time Rhodenbaugh has coached at the national level. He helped guide the U.S. National Junior Team in Barcelona as part of the coaching staff in 2000.
