Team

  • With Mizzou's 34-27 victory at Texas A&M, the Tigers have won nine consecutive road games. Mizzou went 5-0 on the road in 2013 and won its first three away contests of 2014 (at Toledo, 49-24; at No. 13 South Carolina, 21-20; at Florida, 42-13).
  • Tonight's attendance of 104,756 is the largest to ever see the Tigers play. The previous record of 104,578 came at Michigan in 1975.
  • Tonight's game was the last of five consecutive matchups between the teams (four in College Station), and will mark the last meeting between the teams until 2021 in Columbia.
  • Mizzou finished that stretch 4-1; the Tigers are not scheduled to return to College Station until after the current scheduling rotation completes its run in 2025.
  • The win improves the Tigers' all-time series vs. A&M to 7-8.

Individual Offense

  • Senior WR and Ft. Worth native Darius White - one of 18 Texas natives to make the trip for the Tigers - caught a 16-yard TD pass from Maty Mauk for MU's first touchdown of the game, with 11:47 left in the 3rd quarter. He finished the game with six catches for 55 yards.
  • Junior TB Russell Hansbrough - from Arlington - set up White's catch with a big 33-yard run up the middle on the previous play, and on the following drive, used a nice stutter step to roll 49 yards for a score with 9:07 left in the 3rd. He finished the night with a career-high 199 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries to lead the Tigers. It's his fifth career 100-yard game.
  • Senior TB Marcus Murphy carried the ball a career-high 20 times in the victory, totaling 88 yards on the ground.
  • Senior WR Bud Sasser led Mizzou in receiving yards, catching six passes for 83 yards.

Individual Defense

  • Junior LB Kentrell Brothers led Mizzou in tackles with 11 stops, his fifth game this season leading the Tigers. His stat line included five solo stops, one PBU and one forced fumble.
  • Junior DE Shane Ray improved on his SEC-leading totals in sacks and tackles-for-loss, recoding 2.0 TFL and 1.0 sack among two stops to get to 13.0 sacks and 18.0 TFL on the season.
  • Senior DE Markus Golden racked up 2.0 sacks among nine total stops in the victory, a career-best total in that category.

Individual Special Teams

  • Junior PK Andrew Baggett started the game's scoring with a 38-yard field goal with 4:38 left in the 1st. He added a second FG with 5:10 left in the second quarter.
