COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou soccer senior midfielder Kaysie Clark earned another honor last weekend as she was named a Third Team All-American by College Sports Madness, announced on Saturday. Clark also earned a spot on the All-Southeastern Conference first team last week.
In her senior season, Clark, who hails from Liberty, Mo., has a team best 17 points on three goals and 11 assists in 2014. Her 11 assists rank fourth on Mizzou's single-season list, while her 22 career assists rank tied for fifth in program history. Additionally, her five game-winning assists this season are tied for the single season program record.
In 2014, Clark scored the game-winner against No. 17 Georgia on Oct. 17 and scored the 84th minute equalizer on a free kick against Ole Miss on Oct. 24 to help the Tigers comeback for a 3-3 tie. She also tallied game-winning goals in upsets over No. 7 Florida in 2013 and No. 17 Texas A&M in 2011.
In her four-year career, Kaysie Clark has played in 79 games with 76 starts and amassed 52 points on 15 goals and 22 assists. She needs just two more points to enter Mizzou's career top-10 list.
