Columbia, Mo.--Following its second victory of the season at the Patriot Intercollegiate, Mizzou Golf will look to post another strong performance at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, Oct. 10-12 in Jonesborough, Tenn.
Competition will take place on the par 72, 7,147-yard course at Blackthorn Club. The Tigers have participated in the event since 2008, winning the team title in 2012. Mizzou finished eighth at last year's tournament. Other teams competing include Coastal Carolina, East Tennessee State University, Furman, Kent State, Memphis, NC State, Penn State, USMA, UNC Wilmington, Tennessee, Virginia, Wake Forest, Villanova and Virginia Tech.
Turning Stone and Patriot Intercollegiate medalist Ryan Zech will lead the Tigers in Tennessee. Dating back to last season, Zech has finished inside the top 20 in five straight events. The senior's best showing at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate was a tie for 43rd during his freshman season.
Sophomore Euan Walker follows Zech in the lineup. Walker played well at the Patriot Intercollegiate, never straying from the top of the leaderboard and finishing in a tie for ninth. Walker tied for 40th at last year's Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.
Wilson Sundvold has made excellent strides in his game over the past two seasons, securing four top-20 finishes. The senior's top finish this season was at the Turning Stone Intercollegiate where he tied for fourth.
Jacob Fair will go next for Missouri. Fair played his best golf of the season in his last outing at the Patriot Intercollegiate. The redshirt sophomore tied for 15th and carded a new career low 18-hole score of 3-under-par 68 in the first round. Fair tied for 37th at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate during his rookie campaign.
Linus Lilliedahl will be making his season debut as the final Tiger starter. Lilliedahl joined the team in January 2014 and competed in three spring events. His top finish was a tie for 27th at the Bandon Dunes Championship.
Three rounds of 18 holes will be played at Blackthorn Club. Tee times and live scoring will be available on golfstat.com.
