COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou volleyball will renew its series with in-state rival UMKC on Monday (Oct. 13) at 7 p.m. at Swinney Recreation Center in Kansas City. The match will be the Tigers' final non-conference contest of the season and it will air live on the WAC Digital Network. UMKC comes into the match at 15-3 and has won 11 consecutive matches.

Senior middle Whitney Little set her ninth school record on Friday against Auburn and is close to her 10th as she and the Tigers get set to face the Roos. Little tallied six block assists against Auburn, giving her 378 in her three-and-a-half years at Mizzou. Little needs just one solo block on Monday to secure school record No. 10 as she has 116 in her career. The current school record is 117.

Mizzou's series with UMKC dates back to 1977 and the Tigers have lost just three times in 33 meetings, winning the last 10. This will be the first time that Mizzou and UMKC have played since 2009 and it will be the first meeting in Kansas City since 2002, a 3-0 win for Mizzou. Wayne and Susan Kreklow have faced UMKC six times in their careers at Mizzou, winning all six matches. Mizzou has won the last 10 meetings and is 11-2 all-time in Kansas City.

Friday against Auburn, head coach Wayne Kreklow picked up his 200th win since assuming the head coaching role at Mizzou in 2005. After taking over for his wife Susan (now the Director of Volleyball at Mizzou), Kreklow has won 200 of 306 matches as the head coach. He and Susan are 309-152 since taking over the program in 2000.

Although Carly Kan gets much of the attention for the Tigers this season, senior Emily Wilson has actually been the Tigers' top hitter as of late. In SEC play, she is averaging 2.69 kills per set on .300 hitting. She had a 12-kill performance at Georgia, posting those 12 kills on .524 hitting and tallied four kills on just 10 attempts Friday in a sweep of Auburn. In her last 11 matches, Wilson is hitting .320 while averaging a team-best 3.38 kills per set.
