COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Softball (43-18, 15-9 SEC) was ranked 18th and 19th in the nation in the final 2014 rankings by the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 and USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 polls, respectively, the organizations announced on Tuesday.
The finish marks the eighth-straight season head coach Ehren Earleywine's program has been ranked within the Top 20 to close a campaign. The Tigers competed in their eighth consecutive NCAA Division I Softball Championship and played hosts to a Columbia Regional of the NCAA Tournament for the sixth-consecutive year.
