NCAA Men's Golf Selection Show Set For May 5

Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri and The Club at Old Hawthorne will host the 2014 NCAA Men's Golf Columbia Regional Championships (May 15-17), and for the first time, the NCAA Men's Golf Selection Show for each of the six regional sites will be carried live on the Golf Channel May 5 at 9 a.m. CT during the Morning Drive.

The Morning Drive is hosted by Damon Hack, Gary Williams, Holly Sonders and Kelly Tilghman. The Selection Show will also be streamed live at GolfChannel.com.

Mizzou Golf has advanced to NCAA Regional play three of the last four years, finishing sixth at the regional championship in 2011 and eighth last year in Columbus, Ohio. Three of the regional sites will host 13 teams and 10 individual players, while the other three sites will host 14 teams and five individuals. The top five teams from each regional advance to the NCAA Championship. In addition to Mizzou, other regional host insititutions include Auburn, N.C. State, Northern Illinois., Oregon and Texas-San Antonio. Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan., will serve as the 2014 Championship host, May 23-28.

Play at the NCAA Columbia Regional begins May 15 at 7:50 a.m. CT.

Mizzou Golf returns to action April 25-27 at the Southeastern Conference Championship in Sea Island, Ga. The competition begins Friday morning at 6:30 a.m. CT and the Tigers begin play at 8 a.m. CT.
