COLUMBIA, Mo. - No. 14 Mizzou Softball will begin its 2014 season in an alternate location, as adverse weather conditions resulted in canceled travel plans to the Jacksonville (Fla.) University Tournament. Head coach Ehren Earleywine's team will participate in Baylor's Getterman Classic in Waco, Texas, from Friday, Feb. 14-Sunday, Feb. 16.

The Tigers begin the event with UAB at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, before facing Iowa at 3 p.m. Mizzou faces Lipscomb (12:30 p.m.) and Drake (3 p.m.) on the second day of action on Saturday, Feb. 15, before closing out the weekend with No. 16 Baylor at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Mizzou's first home contests of the 2014 season will be against SEC foe Kentucky from March 14-16 at University Field.
