COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou sophomore diver Lauren Reedy was named the Southeastern Conference Female Diver of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday. The honor is the first such accolade of her career.

A native of Rochester Hills, Mich., Reedy swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards and set a new school record in Mizzou's meet against No. 11 Indiana, Illinois and Iowa on Jan. 18. The sophomore won the 1-meter after scoring 342.55 points, a tally that set a new school mark in the event, besting redshirt junior Loren Figueroa's previous record of 335.3. Reedy's 1-meter score of 342.55 also stands as the highest total on the event by a female SEC diver this season. She then scored 328.95 points on the 3-meter to take the sweep.

Reedy, who was named to the 2013 SEC All-Freshman Team, now has seven event wins on the season, which includes four on the 1-meter and three on the 3-meter.

The Tigers return to the pool on Saturday, Jan. 25 in Springfield, Mo., for a 1 p.m. dual against Drury.
