COLUMBIA, Mo. - After wrapping up a decorated career as Mizzou volleyball's starting setter, First Team All-American Molly Kreklow (Delano, Minn.) has been selected by USA Volleyball (USAVB) to participate in the US Women's National Volleyball Team training block, beginning on Jan. 27 in Anaheim, Calif. The eight-week program is for athletes who will look to earn a spot on the US National Team and the majority of the athletes participating have recently finished their collegiate eligibility.
Kreklow is one of three setters that will participate in the program, joining Cal State Northridge's Sydney Gedryn and Oregon's Lauren Plum. Kreklow has extensive experience with USA Volleyball dating back to her days as a prep standout in Minnesota. She was a member of the 2007 and 2008 Junior Olympic Teams and was the setter for the 2008 USAVB Youth National Team in 2008. She also set for the Junior National Team in 2010 and 2011 and most recently participated in the USA Volleyball Coaches Clinic last February.
