When did you first become a Mizzou fan? My employer, Hillyard, relocated our family to Columbia in 2006. In Indiana, we followed our local high school. We love sports and it seemed like a natural fit to become fans of the Tigers. We started by purchasing Football season tickets in the fall of 2006.
Favorite Moment at Mizzou: There are a few (we couldn't pick just one!): Victory over OU, Mizzou Softball's 2011 Super Regional victory to claim their third straight World Series berth. Zaire Taylor's game winning shot again kU, and meeting Coach Haith at Harpo's in Chesterfield!
Why you give to TSF: We believe in the mission of the Tiger Scholarship Fund. Through giving, we feel we are part of the Missouri Family and give in appreciation of the efforts of our student-athletes, coaches, athletic department, and support staff.
Favorite Mizzou Tradition: Marching Mizzou performing "Every True Son"
Favorite former or current Mizzou student-athlete: Again, couldn't choose just one! Our favorites include Rhea Taylor, Chelsea Thomas, Chase Daniel & Jeremy Maclin.
Why you think others should give to TSF: By contributing, we believe others will experience the same satisfaction we have. Our student-athletes, coaches, athletic department, and support staff all make huge sacrifices to represent Mizzou. Whether you're a graduate of Mizzou or a fan, we need to insure our student-athletes have the superior opportunities in the classroom and on the field of play. Remember, every contribution helps build stronger programs.
