
Women's Golf Starts Strong at Mountain View

Tucson, Ariz. -Mizzou Women's Golf started the day off strong at the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. After two rounds of play the Tigers are in sixth place as a team, finishing the day 10-over par. Texas Tech leads the tournament at 3-under par and Northern Arizona is in second place with a team score 1-under par. San Jose State sits in third place with a score 1-over par.
The Tigers were led on the day by junior Taylor Gohn. Gohn is currently tied for third overall as she shot 72-71--143 to finish 1-under par. Michelle Butler also had a great performance on the day, closing out the second round 1-over par. She is tied for 13th in the tournament after shooting 71-74--145 through two rounds.
Alina Rogers is currently tied for 34th overall as she finished 5-over par on the day after shooting 73-76--149. Freshman Katherine Hepler is just one shot behind Rogers, closing the second round in a tie for 44th overall in the tournament. Hepler finished the first round 1-under par and continued for a second round tally 8-over par.
Laura Kraft is also competing for the Tigers in this tournament. She is currently tied for 66th overall, and finished the day 15-over par.
