Applications need to be received no later than April 25, 2014. Only applicants accepted and full-time University of Missouri-Columbia students for Fall 2014 may audition. Feel free to contact me with any questions by emailing thompsonsus@missouri.edu.
* Attendance is REQUIRED at these times.
Clinics and tryouts will be held in the Hearnes Center Field House (except for the last day at Mizzou Arena); you will enter on the East Side of the building.
ALL CLINICS AND TRYOUTS ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.
Judging (Total - 100 points) - "Trumans" will be judged as follows:
- Interview and Clinic participation (30 Points)
- Creative Routine (40 Points)
(Routine performed to music on cassette tape, two minute maximum, limit of two props) - Mizzou fight song (30 Points)
"Trumans" will be ranked by score and assigned a Mizzou sport(s)
Requirements
All Truman Applicants must:
- Tryout in the "Truman" uniform provided by the MU Athletic Department
- Present proof of insurance and a doctor's physical at the first clinic.
- Be available for summer break performances.
- Be dedicated, responsible and enthusiastic about all appearances!
