Last Time Out
Missouri Gymnastics earned a 194.300 score at the Arkansas Quad Meet on Friday, March 1, to take second place. Arkansas came out on top with a 196.525 score. Lindenwood placed third at the meet with a team score of 191.125 and Centenary took fourth at the meet with a 190.525. Missouri continued the trend of setting new career high scores at this meet, as three Tigers put up new personal bests, and senior Sandra Ostad earned a season-high score on the vault. Sophomore Laura Kappler set a new career high on the uneven bars, earning 9.775 score and Freshman Rachel Henderson put up a career high 9.750 for her aggressive beam routine. Last but not least, freshman Miranda Eubank earned a career high 9.750 for her floor routine.

Scouting Illinois
Illinois checks in at No. 19 in the nation this week with an RQS of 195.685. The Fighting Illini earned a season high 196.350 score at Minnesota earlier this seaosn. The team is coming to Mizzou off of a 196.300-195.775 loss to Penn State. Illinois senior Alina Weinstein currently ranked ninth in the nation with an all-around RQS of 39.405. She also comes in at No. 8 in the country on floor, averaging a 9.853 this season.

History vs. Illinois
The Tigers and the Illini have met 27 times in the history of the program. Mizzou boasts a 15-6 record against Illinois in the regular season. The two teams are tied, 3-3 in post season competition. The two teams last met at the IGI ChicagoStyle Invite last season, Missouri earned a 195.525 score to Illinois; 195.100. The Fighting Illini last came to Columbia in 2011, but the Tigers fell to the Illini, 195.400-195.000.

• Sophomore All-American Rachel Updike currently checks in at No. 17 in the nation on the vault with a 9.8931average score. She also ranks 38th on the beam averaging a 9.803 score.
•Missouri's win over TWU at the Air Force Quad Meet marks Missouri Gymnastics' 360th win in the regular season. • Mizzou's March 1 meet against Arkansas will appear on Fox Sports Net on March 9 at 11 p.m.
• This year's Beauty and the Beast brought in the 10th largest crowd in Missouri history, and the largest crowd for a Beauty and the Beast event ever. The Tigers hosted 6,486 fans for the event.
• Sophomore Rachel Updike has never scored below a 9.750 on the vault. She has scored above a 9.825 in all but one meet over the past two seasons.
• Senior Tori Howard has made an appearance in every meet of her career except one. She did not perform against Centenary in her freshman season.
• Mizzou will recognize seniors Brittany Bendoff, Tori Howard and Sandra Ostad at Senior Night on March 8 against Illinois. Taylor Medrea will also be recognized as she is in her last season with the Tigers.
