Mizzou Gymnastics competed in its first-ever SEC road competition on Friday, falling to the Florida Gators, 197.300-194.625. Several Tigers competed their first-ever collegiate meet; Freshman Miranda Eubank appeared in the vault and bar lineups, and Freshman Rachel Henderson earned a spot in the beam lineup as well. Sophomore Laura Kappler recorded a career high 9.725 in her first collegiate uneven bar performance, and Rachel Updike matched her career high score with a 9.950 on the vault.
A look at the opponents
•The Air Force Academy is currently ranked at No. 58 in the nation with an average team score of 190.563. The team earned a season high 191.025 in a loss at Denver to open the season. The Falcons are ranked second in the Mountain Pacific Sports Conference as a team as well.
•UC Davis clocks in at No. 46 in the nation, with a season average of 192.483 after earning a season high 193.625 score in a quad meet at Washington.
•TWU is ranked No. 53 in the nation with a season average of 191.638. The team earned a season high score of 191.800 in their season opener against Bowling Green.
History vs. Opponents
Air Force: The two teams have met three times in program history, and the Tigers have a 2-0 record against Air Force in the regular season (1-0 post season). The last meeting was in 2006 in Columbia, Missouri scored a 195.575 to Air Force's 175.050.
UC Davis: This will be the first meeting between the Tigers and the Aggies.
Texas Women's: Mizzou and TWU have met 15 times in program history and the Tigers are 14-1 against the team in the regular season. The last meeting between Mizzou and TWU was in 2005 at Oklahoma. Missouri earned a 193.925 to TWU's 191.350. Oklahoma won the meet with a 195.250.

• Three meets this season will be televised regionally and nationally, beginning with Mizzou's
season opener against Alabama. The meet will be tape-delayed and shown on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast. The Tigers' meet at Kentucky will air on ESPU on Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m., and Mizzou's March 1 meet against Arkansas will appear on Fox Sports Net on March 9 at 11 p.m.
