Columbus, Ind. - Tiger junior Taylor Gohn won her second consecutive Columbus Women's City Challenge this summer as she finished the tournament 13 strokes ahead of the runner-up. The 36-hole tournament was played at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind.
Gohn kicked off the tournament with a first round total of 70, which gave her a 7-stroke lead going into the second round. She followed it up with a 68 in the second round for a final tally of 138. The score gave her a 13-stroke lead over Sydney Anderson who carded a 151.
The Columbus, Ind. native was happy with her performance at the tournament and was quoted by The Republic as saying, "I was disappointed with my performance in the state amateur, so I wanted to put all my focus on doing my best in this tournament. I started out a little slow, but I got some momentum going on the back nine and finished well."
