Columbia, Mo. - Former Missouri Tiger Nick Wilson leads play at the 2012 Missouri Open (Amateur Flight) shooting rounds of 64-72--136 heading into the final round of play on Saturday at the Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia.

Wilson opened play with an 8-under-par 64 on Thursday and remained steady on Friday firing an even-par 72. Wilson owns a three shot lead over Joe Migdal of St. Louis who shot 68-71--139.

A native of Rocheport, Mo., Wilson had nine birdies and just one bogey during his 64 on Thursday and had two birdies and an eagle on the par 5, 575-yard ninth hole to help him finish even par on the day.

So far for the tournament Wilson has 11 birdies and has played the par 4's at 7-under-par.

Wilson finished his Missouri career with an 11th place finish at the 2012 Big 12 Championships.

Play at the 2012 Missouri Open concludes Saturday.
