Columbia, Mo.-- Missouri Women's Basketball hosts defending National Champion Texas A&M on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers will join forces with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and `Play 4Kay' this evening. Fans who wear pink to the game will receive $3 admission.
LAST TIME OUT
Mizzou Women's Basketball dropped a close contest to Oklahoma on Saturday (Feb. 11) in Norman, Okla. The Tigers (10-13, 0-12) fell 64-60 to the Sooners, who improved to 16-7 overall and 8-4 in Big 12 play. Senior BreAnna Brock earned her sixth career double-double recording 20 points and 10 rebounds. Liz Smith also tallied a career-high eight points on the game.

Missouri will head to Kansas on Saturday, Feb. 18 to take on the Jayhawks for the Border Showdown game at 1 p.m. The Tigers stay out for another road contest at Iowa State on Feb. 21. Mizzou is back in Columbia to host Kansas State on Feb. 25th at 12 p.m.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Coming off their national championship season, the team is now lead by Tyra White, who averages 14.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. The Aggies have four players who are averaging points in the double figures. They have also earned key wins over then-No. 10 Louisville and Oklahoma. Texas A&M is also currently tied for second place with Oklahoma in the Big 12 behind Baylor. The Aggies are coming off of a 23-point loss to the Lady Bears in Waco.
SERIES HISTORY WITH TEXAS A&M
Missouri is 7-11 in program history against the Aggies. The two teams first met in 1997, the first season of the Big 12 Conference. Mizzou pulled out a
91-80 win over Texas A&M. Last season, the Aggies defeated Mizzou 85-40 in Mizzou Arena. Missouri's last victory over Texas A&M was in 2005, the Tigers won 63-46 in Columbia. The Tigers dropped to the Aggies earlier this season in College Station, 78-52.
BIG 12 CONFERENCE HISTORY
Missouri is 254-311 in Big Eight/Big 12 series history. The Tigers have winning records over several conference foes including Iowa State and Oklahoma State.
SIMMONS EARNS BIG 12 HONORS
Kyley Simmons was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week on Monday by the League office after an outstanding week of play for the Tigers. Simmons averaged 10.5 points, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals in Missouri's two games against Iowa State and Oklahoma. Simmons also scored a career-high 14 points against Iowa State to start the week off on a high note. She is a consistent player for the Tigers as she has started in all 23 games this season, and leads the team with 86 assists.
