Senior Forward Christine Flores
On getting a triple-double...
"I got a triple double? Well I just found out so that was my reaction. Yea I think that maybe my first in college. That's huge, I'm just excited about it. I don't really have any words. I'm in disbelief kind of, I know that I am capable of doing that. But, I'm kind of speechless right now, just finding out."
On what happened at halftime...
"It was intense. We know we are a better team than that. I'm not going to put down Eastern Illinois at all, they are a great team, and they are definitely a great squad. We knew what we had to do; we knew we weren't playing the way we wanted to play and that we could pick it up. I think you all saw that in the second half. We came together a lot more, but it was very intense in the locker room."
Senior Forward BreAnna Brock
On getting the come- from-behind victory...
"I just think it's a big difference from last year just as far as our growth, as far being a team. We came together the way that we know that we can and the way that we know that we should. That was just a major part. We were a little sketchy in the first half, but the second half we really came together and that is what really got the `W' in the end."
On being disappointed about fouling out in a close game....
"At the time it was {disappointing}, but I knew that I went hard and I was going after the rebound. So I'm not {disappointed}. I went out knowing that I played hard, and I did that for my teammates. It was all worth it."

Head Coach Robin Pingeton
On Christine Flores's performance...
"You expect that out of a player that's your most experienced player, and she's a senior. I told those three seniors before the game started, `you never get this day back. Let's make sure that we're locked in, we embrace the next 40 minutes, and we compete as hard as we can.' We found a way to do that in the second half."
On the psychological balance of making your players hate losing without letting it carry over...
"It's hard, there's a fine line there. We're not where we want to be, obviously. We have a lot of work to do, we all know that. You're trying to instill a toughness, you're trying to challenge them. You're trying to get to their innards. At the same time, you're trying to embrace them and pat them on the back and build confidence. It is a challenge, and I don't know, as a coach, that you always get it right, but I think you have a lot better chance at getting it right when you really have strong relationships with your players. That's our job as coaches - it's about teaching; it's about life lessons; it's about taking the time to visit one-on-one."
On building off of this win in the long-term...
"It builds a toughness. I think we built a toughness after the Northwestern game. I wasn't very pleased with yesterday's practice. Part of that was probably because they were exhausted, and that's on me. But I think we're getting tougher and we definitely need to. That's a positive."
