LAST TIME OUT
The Missouri Women's basketball team improved to 4-0 on the season after cruising past the North Florida Osprey 67-46 in their 2011-12 home opener Sunday (Nov. 20). The Tigers were once again led by Senior Christine Flores who scored a team-leading 22 points on the game which marks her second 20-point game this season.
UP NEXT
Mizzou will play its third regular season home game against the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 4pm in Mizzou Arena as part of the Big 12/ Big 10 challenge. The contest is the third of an eight-game home stretch, which continues until January. The Tigers will host Eastern Illinois, North Dakota, Evansville, Memphis and Sam Houston State in the home stretch.
SCOUTING WRIGHT STATE
The Wright State Raiders have improved their record to 3-0 on the season after a 20 point victory over Western Kentucky on Tuesday night 86-66. The Raiders were led by their leading scorer Kim Demmings, who put up 25 points in the contest. The performance helped Demmings in being named the Horizon League player of the week. Demmings is averaging double digits in scoring on the season with 18.3 per game along with Molly Fox 13.3, and Shaunda Sandifer 10.7. The Raiders have also tallied victories over Ball State 74-55 and Delaware State 57-53.
SERIES HISTORY WITH WRIGHT STATE
Missouri leads the all-time series 1-0. The last time the Tigers faced the Raiders was in the 1992-93 season. Mizzou pulled off a 77-38 victory in Dayton OH.
