Tigers Host North Florida Sunday

Columbia, Mo. - The Missouri Women's Basketball team returns to Mizzou Arena for an eight-game home stretch this weekend. Missouri opened the regular season with three road games before this weekend's game against North Florida.

LAST TIME OUT
Missouri opened the 2011-12 season 3-0 capping off their three-game road trip at Saint Louis as they battled the Billikens to a 68-56 victory. Although the Tigers led most of the game, they were tested several times in the second half but were able to keep the Billikens at bay with big shots of their own. In particular freshman Morgan Eye had a breakout performance with a career-high 16 points, going a perfect 4-for-4 from behind the arc.

UP NEXT
Mizzou will play it's second regular season home game against the Wright State Raiders on Saturday, Nov. 26th at 4pm in Mizzou Arena.The contest is the second of an eight-game home stretch, which continues until January. The Tigers will host Northwestern, Eastern Illinois, North Dakota, Evansville, Memphis and Sam Houston State in the home stretch.

SCOUTING NORTH FLORIDA
The Ospreys fell to 0-3 on the season after a tough 64-61 overtime loss to Savannah State on Nov. 17. The game was played at 11 a.m., for Elementary School Day, where the Ospreys host just under 3,000 kindergarten-5th grade students at UNF Arena. North Florida has also suffered losses to Ole Miss and USF.

This will be the first meeting for the Tigers and the Ospreys.
