St. Louis, Mo. - The Tigers will close their three-game away stretch on Wednesday (Nov. 16) in St. Louis, Mo., as Mizzou takes on St. Louis at Chaifetz Arena. Tip off for the contest is set for 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Missouri opened the 2011-12 season on the road last weekend with games against UTSA and Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The Tigers finished the weekend 2-0 and head into Wednesday's game undefeated. Seniors Christine Flores and BreAnna Brock led the team against TAMUCC, scoring 52 of the team's 75 points.
UP NEXT
Mizzou will open its home season on Sunday, Nov. 20. The Tigers host North Florida at 2 p.m. in Mizzou Arena. The contest begins an eight-game home stretch, which continues until January. The Tigers will host Wright State, Northwestern, Eastern Illinois, North Dakota, Evansville, Memphis and Sam Houston State in the home stretch.
SCOUTING ST. LOUIS
The Billikens are 1-1 on the young season after beating SEMO 54-45 last Sunday. St. Louis lost its first game of the year to Memphis (63-60) on a last second three-pointer. Redshirt junior Courtney Webb leads the Billikens with a scoring average of 16.5 points a game, while sophmore Lorreal Jones leads the team in rebounding with 10.5 a game. SLU returns four starters and three letterwinners from last year's team that went 7-22. They were picked to finish last in the Atlantic 10 by the league's coaches.

The Tigers have a 16-0 record against the Bil¬likens. The last time the two teams faced each other was in 2005, when Missouri earned a 67-50 victory.
