Mizzou Basketball Releases Full TV Slate

Oct. 4, 2011

Columbia, Mo. -

Full Schedule

Mizzou Basketball released its complete 2011-12 television schedule on Tuesday and the club will once again have each of its games televised this season.

KOMU's Chris Gervino will lead the play-by-play efforts on all Mizzou Sports Network (MSN) men's hoops telecasts. The Tigers have 11 games appearing on the network, including the Nov. 11 season-opener vs. Southeast Missouri State at Mizzou Arena. That contest will be the official debut for new head coach Frank Haith.

The MSN slate opens with exhibition games against Truman State (Nov. 2) and Central Missouri (Nov. 7) and continues with three consecutive regular-season tilts vs. SEMO, Mercer (Nov. 14) and Niagara (Nov. 17).

The Mizzou Sports Network will also air games vs. Binghamton (Nov. 27), Northwestern State (Dec. 2), Navy (Dec. 10), Kennesaw State (Dec. 15), William & Mary (Dec. 18) and the Big 12 Conference-opener vs. Oklahoma at Mizzou Arena on Jan. 3.

In addition to state-wide coverage, the potential exists for each of Missouri's MSN games to be carried live from coast-to-coast thanks to ESPN Full-Court and ESPN3.com. Every Mizzou Sports Network game is available to both services.

Missouri will also have a school record 16 regular-season games appearing on national TV in addition to the One State, One Spirit Classic, which will be televised by ESPNU on Oct. 30 at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo.

Missouri Basketball officially opens practice next Friday on Oct. 14.
