Golf Prepares for Royal Oaks Intercollegiate

Dallas, Texas - The Missouri Men's Golf team is stepping out at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate next week. The two-day tournament, hosted by Baylor University, will take place at the Royal Oaks Country Club with the first and second rounds to be played on Monday, Oct. 31.

The Royal Oaks Country Club is home to a 7,068 yard, par-71 and boasts one of the most traditional layouts in the Southwest. The course was originally designed by J. Press Maxwell, and has since been modified only to encourage better drainage and playability.

The Tigers will compete in the tournament with several other teams including Army, Augusta State, Duke, Houston, Iowa, Lamar University, New Mexico, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, SMU, Texas A&M and Tulsa.

Round one (18) will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 31, with the second round to follow. The final round will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 8:30 a.m. as well. Live scoring can be found on www.golfstat.com, and fans can follow MUTigers.com for all the up-to-date information on Mizzou Golf.
