Tiger's Visit Dallas for Southwest Plunge

Columbia, Mo. -- The Missouri men's swimming and diving team returns to the pool this weekend as it travel to Mansfield, Texas, to compete in the second annual Southwest Plunge against Texas A&M, SMU, and Texas. The event, which runs both Friday and Saturday is Mizzou's first real test of the season as the team competes against three traditionally strong programs.

Missouri comes in to the weekend after hosting the seventh annual Show-Me Showdown. Igor Kozlovskij placed first for the Tigers in the men's 150 breaststroke with a final time of 1:30.50 and the men's 400 yard medley relay team of John Higgins, Mark Conroy, Neil O'Halloran, and Igor Kozlovskij notched a second place finish with a time of 3:23.46. The Tiger's also placed first in the men's 400 yard freestyle with Eegan Groome recording a time of 3:34.57.
