Columbia, Mo. - Virtual tickets for the One State, One Spirit Classic presented by Leggett & Platt in Joplin, Mo., will go on sale Aug. 8 online at mutigers.com at 10 a.m.

The Oct. 30 charity game featuring the Missouri Southern and University of Missouri basketball programs is expected to be a quick sellout and virtual tickets will allow those unable to attend the game to support the continued relief efforts following the devastating May 22, 2011, tornado in southwest Missouri.

Although not valid for entry, fans purchasing the $10 virtual seats will receive a commemorative game ticket in the mail and all proceeds from the sale will go to support the Missouri Southern Foundation's relief efforts.

Game tickets for the exhibition game went on sale Aug. 1 for Missouri Southern Lionbackers Booster Club members. Sales to the general public will begin on Aug. 8. All tickets will be sold through the Missouri Southern Athletics Ticket Office by calling 417-625-9366.

The University of Missouri is also continuing to sell its widely popular One State. One Spirit. One Mizzou. Tornado Relief T-Shirts. Those shirts are available for $14.95 and proceeds from the sale go to benefit the United Way's United For Joplin campaign. Shirt are available for sale online at mutigers.com and at the Tiger Team Store on the north side of Memorial Stadium.
