Columbia, Mo. - Members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) have selected Missouri men's swimmer Jordan Hawley to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District 7 first team.

This is the first CoSIDA All-District selection for Hawley (Plano, Texas). In his senior season, he was selected as a Big 12 Swimmer of the Week in February and was a member of relay teams that shattered University records in the 200 and 400 medleys and 200 and 400 freestyles. Hawley also leaves as the Mizzou record-holder in the 50 freestyle (19.72).

To be eligible for nomination to the Capital One Academic All-District Team, nominees must own a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or better. Hawley is now eligible for selection to the Academic All-America Team, which will be announced on June 7.
