Vancouver, BC – As announced by Whitecaps FC, seniors Alysha Bonnick and Krista Kruse have signed and been approved by the league office to play professionally for the program.

“We as a staff are extremely excited to watch these two play professionally,” head coach Bryan Blitz said. “They had a tremendous impact on our program and I have no doubt they will be success at the next level.”

Bonnick capped off her career as a Tiger with a team-leading nine goals. She earned All-Big 12 second team honors and was named the winner of the 2010 Chick-Fil-A Community of Champions Award.

Kruse had an equally impressive senior year scoring eight goals (2 game –winners). She scored this goal against then No. 7 Texas A&M that was featured as the No. 5 Top 10 Play on SportsCenter.
