BigSoccer.com announced its Top 10 recruiting classes today, putting Missouri at No. 9. This is a program second under head coach Bryan Blitz, who started the program in 1996.
The Big 12 leads the rankings with three schools in the Top 10. "I have a great feeling that this incoming class, which my staff worked so hard to recruit, will have an impact next year," Blitz said. "These rankings also make a statement about the athletic and academic prowess of the Big 12."
The 2011 Missouri signing class includes nine student-athletes, with three from Missouri and an international player from Canada. Headliners include Kaysie Clark (KC Select Scream, Liberty, Mo.) and Caroline Stanley (KCFC, Lee Summit, Mo), who represented the U.S. U-17 National Team in the 2010 World Cup. Abigail Raymer (Whitecaps FC, Vancouver, BC) represented Canada on its U-17 National Team.
