COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the Tiger Scholarship Fund invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Head Men's Basketball Coach Frank Haith, Head Women's Basketball Coach Robin Pingeton, Director of Athletics Mike Alden and other Tiger coaches and select student-athletes, when the Mizzou Caravan stops in Springfield, Mo., Tues., April 26th.
Tiger Athletics will sponsor a dinner and "Tiger Talk" reception that evening at the Doubletree Hotel, located at 2431 N. Glenstone Ave. in Springfield. A social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., when fans can mingle with the Caravan party and order food and drinks off the menu at regular prices, with the program starting up at 6:30 p.m. There is no fee to attend the event.
Haith, who was recently named the 17th basketball coach in Mizzou Men's history, will share his vision of the Tiger program going forward, while Pingeton, fresh off a promising debut season at MU, will recap her first year on the Tiger bench.
