Meet Ashleigh Chiaf

Meet Ashleigh Chiaf, an incoming freshman, who will join the Tigers in the 2011-2012 season. Ashleigh attended Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in Oklahoma City, Okla. and is the daughter of Kathy and Joey Chiaf. Ashleigh was a tennis State Champion in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Ashleigh also played tennis at Oak Tree Country Club and has won several Missouri Valley Awards. Twice, she was the Girls' Sweet 16 Doubles Champion and was the 2010 Sweet 16 Sportsmanship Winner. In 2009 and 2010, she was her age group's Junior Sportsmanship Award Winner, which was presented by the Oklahoma District Tennis Association.

Besides playing tennis, Ashleigh is a member of National Honor Society and performed 95 hours of community service at various organizations throughout her high school career. Ashleigh excels in academics as she took numerous Honors and Pre-AP classes including Honors Pre-Calculus, Alegbra II, Geometry, Algebra I and Pre-AP Chemistry. She was also a member of her school's yearbook staff for two years.
